<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing lid with a damper which does not affect a space such as a storage part of a box body while the damper is not exposed outside in its structure. <P>SOLUTION: An arm rest 4 to be turned between the opening position for opening a box 1 and the closing position for closing the box includes an opening/closing lid body 11 which is turnably supported by a box body 3 and has an internal space V demarcated by an outer wall, and a piston damper 25 having a cylinder 71 and a piston 72 to be advanced/retracted in the cylinder.
