<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of reliably preventing improper connection. <P>SOLUTION: When a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) is inserted from an opening 16 of a base 11 and temporary holding notches 66 of the FPC are positioned by engaging them with elastic temporary holding parts 44 and 54 of support fittings 40 and 50, long locking tongue pieces 45 and 55 extending respectively from the elastic temporary holding parts 44 and 54 are fitted to slits 61 of an operating lever 60 if the operating lever 60 is rotated for operation. When an end portion of the FPC inserted in the opening 16 of the base 11 is brought into contact with the elastic temporary holding parts 44 and 54 of the support fittings 40 and 50 and the operating lever 60 is rotated for operation, the long locking tongue pieces 45 and 55 engage with the respective locking notches 66 of the operating lever 60, thereby preventing the operating lever 60 from being rotated for operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
