<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize, in recovering an execution state after the occurrence of trouble in stream data processing, utilization of every window calculation after minimizing the memory capacity needed for acquisition of backup data. <P>SOLUTION: In recovering from trouble in data processing, a query analyzing unit 606 analyzes, in an operator processing stream data corresponding to a query, the operator that holds the execution state of windows and the like and recovery points of the operator; a backup data managing unit 652, when acquiring the backup data, manages a capacity needed for snapshot acquisition of the analyzed recovery points, calculates the memory capacity of a memory area 655 needed for backing up input data until each recovery point and the memory capacity of a memory area 654 needed when a snapshot is acquired for a window that cannot be reproduced thereby, selects a recovery point at which the total of memory capacities needed for these actions is the smallest, and records the execution state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
