<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavator having an obstacle breaking facility capable of breaking an obstacle easily, even when the obstacle is vertically long and extends generally in a propulsion direction of the excavator, in order to propel the excavator further forward. <P>SOLUTION: An excavator has a cutter head 2 rotatable with respect to a body part 1 and equipped with a plurality of nozzles. One of the plurality of nozzles is an over cutter nozzle 10, which is slidingly movable to a position outside the outer periphery of the excavator and is angled outward in a radial direction of the excavator, or there are provided at least a pair of obliquely jetting nozzles 11 angled outward in the radial direction of the excavator and a pair of obliquely jetting nozzles 12 angled inward in the radial direction of the excavator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
