<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger capable of charging a battery pack with comparatively large current and suppressing breakage of a circuit component in the charger which charges the battery pack. <P>SOLUTION: The charger includes: a charging circuit which supplies charging current to a secondary battery 40; a charging current control means 5 for controlling the charging current which flows to the charging circuit; and a component temperature detection means 34 for detecting temperature of a circuit component 12 which constitutes the charging circuit, in which the temperature of the circuit component 12 detected by the component temperature detection means 34 reaches first temperature, the charging current control means 5 sets the charging current which flows to the charging circuit smaller than when the temperature of the circuit component is equal to or less than the first temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
