<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogen-free flat cable which achieves excellent manufacturability and wiring workability. <P>SOLUTION: A flat cable 11 comprises: a plurality of insulated electric cables 12 arrayed in parallel and each including a central conductor 13 covered with an exterior covering 14; and an adhesive tape 16 attached on two opposing sides of the insulated electric cables arrayed in parallel and fixing the cables. The exterior covering 14 is formed from a halogen-free insulative resin composition. The insulative resin composition consists of one of α olefin-based resin and ethylene-based copolymer resin and a mixture thereof. The adhesive tape 16 is formed from a halogen-free resin composition. The resin composition includes, as its main constituent, any of polyester, polyphenylene sulfide and polyimide or a mixture thereof, or copolymer polyester. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
