<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel assembling apparatus with high productivity, capable of easily and stably sucking a display panel substrate, conveying the display panel substrate to each prescribed position of each processing unit at a high speed, and highly precisely positioning the display panel substrate at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: In this display panel assembling apparatus, substrate holding means (a table or the like) 10 for conveyance includes a panel holding/fixing member fixing part (a leaf spring or the like) 18 which has a panel holding/fixing member (a suction pad or the like) 19 with high rigidity, and has high rigidity in the horizontal direction and high flexibility in the vertical direction. This display panel assembling apparatus thus flexibly follows the attitude of the display panel substrate 4 when sucking and holding the display panel substrate 4 and makes the display panel substrate 4 rigid after sucking and holding the same so as to achieve high-speed panel conveying and positioning operations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
