<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner surface treatment apparatus for a cylinder bore which can apply finishing treatment to the inner surface of a cylinder bore, without requiring to consider removal of remnants and without increasing the size of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A rotation controller 55 and a transfer controller 56 move a jetting nozzle 11 on a virtual circumferential surface that is at a prescribed distance from the inner circumferential surface 17a of a cylinder bore 17. The jetting nozzle 11 generates cavitation bubbles by simultaneously jetting a low pressure fluid and a high pressure fluid toward the inner circumferential surface 17a of the cylinder bore 17, and applies finishing treatment to the inner circumferential surface 17a of the cylinder bore 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
