<p>The device comprises a system of linkages (8) and (9) which are connected to the moving gear of a receiver and able to be moved linearly in a back and forth motion parallel to a barrel (4). According to the invention, the device comprises a connecting piece (6) fastened to the system of linkages (8) and (9) and mounted with the ability to move linearly, guided on a rod (7) mounted parallel to and underneath the barrel (4), said piece (6) being secured, through an aperture (5a) formed under a fixed forestock (5) to an operating member (10) that partially hugs the cross section of said forestock (5) and is mounted with the ability to move in order at the same time to move the system of linkages (8) and (9) and, therefore, the moving gear of the receiver, said forestock (5) remaining conventional and stationary and performing the function of protecting the system of linkages.</p> |
