PURPOSE: A method for providing a pre-paid service to a handover terminal and apparatus thereof are provided to offer accurate pre-paid service to a user using the pre-paid service of an IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) network. CONSTITUTION: The call of a terminal is matched with a call which is executed handover from a cellular network to an IMS network, a control unit(310) selects a first entity in order to process accounting for the call of the terminal. The control unit requests the accounting processing for the call of the terminal to a second entity which processes the pre-paid service of the IMS network. The control unit receives responses for the accounting processing of terminal call from the second entity. A accounting processing unit(320) executes the accounting processing for the call of the terminal through the first entity. |
