PURPOSE: A medical carrier robot is provided to implement safe transport of medical samples by traveling with three or more wheels contacting the surface. CONSTITUTION: A medical carrier robot(100) comprises a main body(10), driving wheels, a driving unit, sensing units(1,2), a route creating unit, a controller, a charger, and a charge station. The driving wheels are coupled to the main body and driven by the driving unit. The sensing units include an emitting part and a sensing part which senses infrared rays or visible rays emitted from the emitting part and then reflected from an external vision mark. The route creating unit determines the relative positions of the vision marks and the main body from the sensed infrared rays or visible rays and creates a moving route of the main body based on the information. The controller controls the driving unit so that the main body moves according to the route created by the route creating unit. The charger transmits power to the driving unit. |
