PURPOSE: A photographic lens optical system is provided to obtain a wide view angle and excellent performance even in being miniaturized and lightened. CONSTITUTION: A first lens(I), a second lens(II), a third lens(III), and a fourth lens(IV) are successively arranged from a subject between the subject and an image sensor. The image sensor forms the image of the subject. The first lens has a positive refractive index and forms an incident side to be convex to the object. The second lens has a negative refractive index and forms both side to be concave. The third lens has the positive refractive index and forms a convex meniscus lens to the image sensor. The fourth lens has the negative refractive index and forms at least one of the incident side and an emitting side to be aspherical.
