METHOD FOR EMERGENCY CALL USING PORTABLE TERMINAL ACCESSIBLE TO WIRELESS INTERNET ON IP NETWORK

PURPOSE: An emergency call service method based on SoIP(Service over IP) using portable terminal is provided to offer effective services to a user by accurately processing an emergency situation. CONSTITUTION: A server(13) receives an emergency call request signal transmitted by a portable terminal through an access point which is able to use an emergency call service(S205). The server transmits the received emergency call request signal to an emergency guide center(15)(S206). The server acquires the location information of the access point and the subscriber information of the portable terminal from an emergency call service management system(S213). The server transmits an emergency call message including the acquired access point information and the acquired subscriber information to the emergency guide center(S214).
