POLARIZER PROTECTIVE FILM, POLARIZING PLATE, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer protective film having excellent ultraviolet absorption capacity, excellent heat resistance, and excellent optical transparency; to provide a polarizing plate with few appearance defect using the polarizer protective film and a polarizer; and to provide a high-quality image display device using the polarizing plate.

SOLUTION: A polarizer protective film comprises a (meth)acrylic resin as a main component and an ultraviolet absorber. The light transmittance of the polarizer protective film at a thickness of 80 μm and at 380 nm is 30% or less, and the difference between the Tg of the polarizer protective film and the Tg of a same film as the polarizer protective film except that the ultraviolet absorber is not contained is within 3°C, and a YI at the thickness of 80 μm is 1.3 or less .
