<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting apparatus and a liquid jetting method that can satisfactorily prevent the occurrence of cavitation. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid jetting apparatus 10 includes: a liquid jetting head 30 jetting liquid supplied from a liquid storage means 27 based on application of a driving signal based on driving signal information; an atmospheric pressure measuring means 50 measuring atmospheric pressure in a place where the liquid jetting apparatus 10 is installed; an information storage part 73 storing atmospheric pressure correlated information that indicates the relationship between atmospheric pressure and the driving signal information associated with the amount of dissolved gas in liquid that fluctuates according to the atmospheric pressure; and a control means 70 selecting the driving signal information used as the basis of the driving signal applied at the liquid jetting head 30 based on atmospheric pressure measured by the atmospheric pressure measuring means 50 and the atmospheric pressure correlated information, and controlling driving of the liquid jetting head 30 based on the driving signal information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
