<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive gas valve device including a gas cock, a flow passage block having a flange jointed to a flange of a cock body, a solenoid valve for opening and blocking a gas flow passage within the flow passage block and an orifice member interposed in a side passage in parallel with the solenoid valve and eliminating the necessity of drilling processing for forming a side passage. <P>SOLUTION: First and second gas outflow ports 23, 24 are opened in the flange 21 of the cock body 2, and a first plug hole 41 making gas flow in the first gas outflow port 23 and a second plug hole 42 making gas flow in the second gas outflow port 24 are formed in a plug 4. A first connection port 52a serving as a portion of a gas flow passage on the solenoid valve upstream side and a second connection port 52d making the second gas outflow port 24 communicate with a portion of a gas flow passage on the solenoid valve downstream side are opened on the flange 51 of the flow passage block 5.
