<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing composition for hircismus, in particular, hircismus containing 3-mercapto-alkane-1-ols as a major causative ingredient. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorizing composition for hircismus containing 3-mercapto-alkane-1-ols as a major causative ingredient contains one or more kinds of compounds selected from the following component (I-A) and one or more kinds of compounds selected from the following component (I-B). The components are: (I-A) an alkylene glycol selected from ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, 1,3-butanediol, 1,4-butanediol, 1,5-pentanediol, 3-methyl-1,3-butanediol, 2-methyl-2,4-pentanediol, 3-methyl-1,5-pentanediol and 1,6-hexanediol; and (I-B) a polyalkylene glycol selected from diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, tripropylene glycol, polyethylene glycol and polypropylene glycol, an alkylene glycol ether selected from 3-methyl-3-methoxybutanol, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, ethylene glycol monobenzyl ether and ethylene glycol monophenyl ether, and a polyalkylene glycol ether selected from diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, diethylene glycol monobutyl ether, trimethylene glycol dimethyl ether and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
