<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data generation device and the like which are capable of generating accurate highway regulation information in accordance with a change in situation. <P>SOLUTION: In a data providing system where an information providing center (2) and an in-vehicle system (1) communicate with each other, the information providing center (2) includes: a probe server (21) which acquires travel track data including position information and speed information of a vehicle from the in-vehicle system (1), and collects a travel speed at a position right before entering an intersection, from the travel track data; and a determination server (22) which determines a highway regulation on the basis of the collected travel speed at the position right before entering the intersection. The determination server (22) excludes travel speeds in the position right before entering the intersection during traffic congestion, from the collected travel speeds in the position right before entering the intersection to determine a highway regulation. The in-vehicle system (1) receives the highway regulation determined by the determination server (22) of the information providing center (2) from the information providing center (2) and presents the highway regulations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
