<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which can be used with various kinds of plugs with different structures. <P>SOLUTION: The electric connector enabling an insertion of two different kinds of plugs comprises an insulating main body with a base and a tongue extending forward from the base, and a terminal with a holder to be held by the insulating main body, a contacting part extending from one end of the holder to the tongue, and a solder part extending from the other end of the holder. The terminal includes two pairs of outer terminals placed at the outermost side and the intermediate terminal placed between the pairs of outer terminals, and the intermediate terminal can be connected with one terminal of one plug of the two different kinds of plugs and two terminals of the other plug. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
