#CMT# #/CMT# The vehicle (1) has a fuel tank (4) arranged laterally across a drive shaft (3). The fuel tank is arranged below the drive shaft on a frame (2). The fuel tank is secured at a longitudinal beam (8) of the frame by tapes. A recess is formed at a longitudinal end of the fuel tank and extended from a top surface of the fuel tank to a lower side of the fuel tank in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle. A drive shaft core is arranged at an upper side of the fuel tank and extended in the vehicle longitudinal direction. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Motor vehicle i.e. utility vehicle (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The fuel tank is arranged below the drive shaft on the frame, so that the fuel tank is simple to assemble, inexpensive and easy to handle. The fuel tank is arranged laterally across the drive shaft, so that the fuel tank is maintained in a central position in a region of the drive shaft, thus gaining installation spaces on outer sides of the frame, and hence increasing crash safety of the vehicle during a side impact.
