The vehicle (10) has a luggage space (11) for a cargo (20), and a turnstile (2) that comprises two doors (1, 3). A locking region is provided between the two doors, where an inner door of the locking region is separated from the luggage space, and another door of the locking region from another region. An access control unit (30) is utilized for controlling an opening and/or closure of one of the doors. The latter region is provided outside of the logistics vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a logistics vehicle.
