PURPOSE: A height control device for folding lateral parts of a paper board is provided to automatically fold lateral parts of a paper board and complete a paperboard box within a reduced time. CONSTITUTION: A height control device for folding lateral parts of a paper board comprises a lateral part folding unit(500), a width control unit(700), and a driving unit(800). The lateral part folding unit comprises a rotating block(510), a pressing unit(520), and a fixing unit. The rotating block is coupled to a shaft(840) to slide and rotate in the axial direction. The pressing unit is coupled to one side of the rotating block for length control in the height direction. The fixing unit is coupled through the pressing unit to the rotating block and elastically supports the pressing unit. The width control unit is connected to the lateral part folding unit and transfers the lateral part folding unit in the width direction in order to control the width of the lateral part folding unit according to the width of a paper board. The driving unit is connected by a shaft to the lateral part folding unit and activates the lateral part folding unit.
