The subject of the invention is an articulated box (1), notably for a false ceiling, comprising: an outer casing (2) formed of four sides (4) defining a quadrilateral on which there is mounted an end wall (5) intended to be fixed to a wall, at least one internal surround (3) formed of four profile sections (6) to the base of which a stretched web (7) is attached, at least one articulation (10) connecting said internal surround (3) and said outer casing (2) in such a way as to allow said internal surround (3) to pivot with respect to said outer casing (2) and at least one closure (14) to keep the internal surround (2) in a closed, so-called operating, position, the articulation (10) comprising a slide (11) secured to the outer casing (2) and on the whole perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the inner surround (3), a hinge assembly (12) secured to the profile section (6). Said box is notable in that the articulation (10) comprises a rolling member (13) allowing the hinge assembly (12) to slide along the slide (11) and which allows said inner surround (3) a movement of the rotor-translational type, said inner surround (3) thus being able to pivot and then be translated along the outer casing (2) or to pivot while effecting a translational movement along said outer casing (2). |
