<p>PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing a hot-rolled steel plate with excellent surface quality is provided to curb the growth of secondary scale before an FSB descaling process and finishing rolling by controlling the content of silicon and sulfur and the starting temperature of finishing rolling. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing a hot-rolled steel plate with excellent surface quality comprises next steps. A slab board is re-heated. The re-heated slab board is roughly rolled. The roughly rolled board is finishing-rolled. The starting temperature of finishing rolling is within 1000~1080°C. The content of silicon in the slab board is 0.05~0.25 weight%. The content of sulfur in the slab board is 0.005~0.010 weight%. Between the steps of roughly rolling and finishing rolling, a descaling step of removing scale using FSB(Finishing Scale Breaker) is added.</p> |
