The method involves forming a connection region (410) by arranging three components (100, 200, 300) with corresponding end sections (110, 210, 310) together such that the end section of the second component is provided between the first and third components. The connection region is irradiated with a laser beam (440), and the first and second components and the second and third components are connected with each other at the end sections. The end section of the second component is provided with a material that is transparent for the laser beam.
