SHEARING DIE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A mold for shearing and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to enhance abrasion resistance and durability by containing one or more of Al, Ti, and Cr and prevent a film from becoming taken off or destroyed. CONSTITUTION: A mold(1) for shearing comprises a pair of substrates and a board(2). At least one of the substrates is formed from steel, cemented carbide or ceramics. Said at least one of the substrates is extended from a curved surface and a curved blade to cut the board and comprises a side facing the surface of the board. A hard film is formed on at least, the curved area and a 300μm area along the side of the substrate from the end of the curved surface of a side facing the surface of the board, of said at least one of the substrates. The hard film is formed in an arc-ion plating method.
