Reporting a Minimization of Drive Test, MDT, logs. A method is used in a mobile communication device in a service network comprising a plurality of cells. The method comprises transmitting, by the mobile communication device, an MDT log to the service network via a serving cell upon receiving a request message for the MDT log; and terminating (finishing, stopping, releasing, suspending or ending), by the mobile communication device, the transmission of the MDT log in response to a change (e.g. handover, relocation, reselection, cell update, etc.) of the serving cell from a first cell to a second cell in the service network. In a second embodiment, parts of the MDT log are sent in several report messages until the whole MDT log is reported to the network. Thereafter, the MDT log is removed or deleted from the user equipment, UE, memory. |
