PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing graphite cast steel using inoculant is provided to improve the graphite spheroidizing rate and fraction by putting inoculant into a ladle in two stages. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing graphite cast steel using inoculant comprises steps of: preparing a ladle to be arranged corresponding to the tapping part of a furnace(S1), putting inoculant in the ladle first(S2), tapping molten steel in the furnace through the tapping part into the ladle so that the molten steel is mixed with the inoculant(S3), moving the ladle to a casting machine for producing a cast product(S4), putting inoculant into the ladle secondly before the molten steel mixture is put into the casting machine(S5), and putting the mixture of molten steel and inoculant into the casting machine to produce the cast product(S6). The inoculant, which is put into the ladle first and secondly, includes calcium silicide. |
