PURPOSE: A portable terminal and operation control method thereof are provided to control various operations through a pointer which a user instinctively operates on a small screen. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(151) displays a motion screen. A control unit(180) displays a pointer including a click area on the operation screen. If there is input for touching the click area, the control unit executes an operation for directing the pointer. The click area is transparent. A sensing unit(140) senses a proximal object. |
