摘要 A composite electrode active material, an electrode containing the composite electrode active material, and an electrochemical device containing the electrode are provided to improve velocity, output characteristics and to increase capacitance. A composite electrode active material comprises a first electrode active material which converts a chemical energy into an electric energy by oxidation-reduction reaction; and 0.5-200 wt% of a second electrode active material which stores energy by the surface adsorption of charge based on the weight of the first electrode active material. Preferably the first electrode active material is a lithium metal oxide or an activated carbon having a surface area of 500-3,000 m^2/g and a pore size of 1-50 nm; and the second electrode active material is an exfoliated graphite having a surface area of 50 m^2/g or more.
