APPARATUS FOR SEARCHING CHINESE LANGUAGE USING PIN-YIN SPELLED KOREAN LANGUAGE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An apparatus for searching Chinese language using pin-yin spelled Korean language is provided to enable a user to conveniently search Chinese character. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(100) inputs Chinese pin-yin which is expressed in Korean character. A syllable analyzer(110) analyzes the syllable of Chinese pin-yin inputted with Korean into consonants or vowels. A syllable extender(120) expands the consonants with similar sound consonants and expands the vowels with similar sound vowels. A search unit(130) searches Chinese pin-yin by matching the expanded consonants and vowels.
