The arrangement (1) has a shaft (4) rotatably supported with an inner race, rolling elements and an outer race by a roller bearing (5). A control unit (6) is connected with a drive (12) to activate and deactivate the drive. The control unit controls the drive by the shaft to temporarily rotate the shaft around a rotation angle in order to change a relative position between the rolling elements and the inner and outer races. A coupling device is connected with the control unit and arranged between the shaft and another shaft. An independent claim is also included for a method for preventing burying of a set of rolling elements in inner and outer races.
