The method involves measuring value of an electrical resistance of resistive strain gauges of a weight sensor (4) under a standard load (C) according to charging or discharging time of a capacitor from known capacity through the measured strain gauges. Coefficients of variation law of the electrical resistance of the gauges based on applied weight and coefficients of weight determination law based on the electrical resistance value of the gauges are determined according to measurement of electrical resistance at vacuum and under standard load. An independent claim is also included for an electronic weighing apparatus comprising a measurement plate.
