MULTI-PHASE DC-DC CONVERTER USING INTEGRATED Y-Y CONNECTION TRANSFORMER FOR FUEL-CELL SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A multi-phase DC-DC converter for a fuel battery using an integrated Y-Y connection transformer is provided to reduce a ripple component which is inevitably included in the power source generated through a fuel battery using a three phase half-bridge as a switching unit. CONSTITUTION: A multi-phase DC-DC converter for a fuel battery using an integrated Y-Y connection transformer is composed of three pairs of the switches consisting of a pair of the switches which are parallely connected to an input power source and an input capacitor which is connected to both ends of the input power source. A switching unit(21) determines the action mode of a converter with the switching operation of a pair of each switch. A Y-Y connection transformer(22) changes the current and the voltage of a primary side according to a winding ratio and transfers a transformed current and voltage to a secondary side. A rectifier(23) and an output capacitor rectify a voltage which is outputted from the secondary windings of the Y-Y connection transformer.
