PURPOSE: A machine for peeling oxide layers of a wire rod is provided to simply and continuously remove oxide layers from a wire rod using a plurality of wire brush wheels that are rotated and revolved by the engagement of internal gears and planetary gears. CONSTITUTION: A machine for peeling oxide layers of a wire rod comprises a plurality of planetary gears which are coupled with internal gears constituting a gear box(3). The planetary gears are coupled to a wheel fixing shaft(11) of a peeling rotary body(4) through a peeling ball joint shaft(9). Planetary gear driving disks(8a) are provided on both sides of the gear box in which the internal gears are formed. Hollow shafts(20a,20b,20c) are fixed to the planetary gear drive disks. The wheel fixing shaft in which a plurality of wire brush wheels(12) are alternately arranged and the peeling rotary body are rotated and revolved the same time. Surface oxide layers of a wire rod are removed by passing the wire rod through the wire brush wheels.
