PURPOSE: A cable-type door locking device is provided to overcome the restriction in positions of a door lock and a door handle by employing connection using a cable between the door lock and a door latch. CONSTITUTION: A cable-type door locking device comprises a lever(12), a cable(40), a worm gear(50), an internal gear(60), and a door latch coupling part(70). The lever revolves around the key rotary shaft of a door lock. The cable is connected to the lever on a first end thereof and has a linear motion associated with the rotational motion of the lever. The worm gear is connected to a second end of the cable. The internal gear engages with the worm gear and rotates according to the linear motion of the worm gear. The door latch coupling part is coupled with the internal gear and transfers the rotational motion of the internal gear to the door latch. |
