<p>PURPOSE: An H-steel for building a structure and a method for producing the same are provided to improve low temperature impact property. CONSTITUTION: An H-steel for building a structure comprises carbon(C) of 0.01~0.2 weight%, silicon(Si) of 0.01~0.4 weight%, manganese(Mn) of 0.5~1.5 weight%, phosphorus(P) of less than 0.035 weight%, titanium(Ti) of 0.005~0.04 weight%, copper(Cu) of less than 0.6 weight%, sulfur(S) of less than 0.03 weight%, niobium(Nb) of 0.001~0.05 weight%, vanadium(V) of 0.01~0.11 weight%, aluminum(Al) of 0.01~0.03 weight%, nitrogen(N) of 60~150 weight ppm, remnant iron(Fe), and the inevitable impurity. The total of vanadium(V) and niobium(Nb) is 0.15 weight% or less. Carbon equivalent(Ceq) is 0.40~0.45 weight% range.</p> |
