PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a separator for fuel cell is provided to improve the physical and the chemical properties of the separator for fuel cell, by using halogen surface treatment method. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a separator for fuel cell comprises a step of offering a separator, and a step of surface-treating the separator by halogen. The halogen is fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine or mixture thereof. The surface treating step comprises a step of soaking the separator into halogen solution or coating the surface of the separator by the halogen solution, and a step of hot-air drying the coated separator.
