PURPOSE: A ladle car system is provided to extend the life span of a ladle by diversifying the corroded position of the ladle where tapped molten steel directly contacts. CONSTITUTION: A ladle car system comprises a rail(10), a traveling unit(20), a ladle(30), two or more limit switches(40), and a controller. The traveling unit travels along the rail. The ladle is installed on the top of the traveling unit. The limit switches are installed separate from each other on one side of the rail. The controller controls the traveling unit using the limit switches so that the traveling unit is stopped at one of tapping positions successively.
