METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING DOWNLINK RESOURCE ALLOCATION INFORMATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting and receiving downlink resource allocation information in a wireless communication system and an apparatus thereof are provided to check the reception status of resource allocation information and data burst at a base station without changing the structure of an existing uplink HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Retransmission request) feedback channel. CONSTITUTION: A first signal sequence mapping device(502) outputs the first signal sequence corresponding to the NACK(Negative Acknowledgement) of a corresponding HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Retransmission request) feedback channel. A first modulation and repeating device(504) generates the first modulation symbol sequence by modulating the first signal sequence. A second signal sequence mapping device(510) outputs the zero signal sequence corresponding to the ACK(Acknowledgement) of the corresponding HARQ feedback channel. A second modulation and repeater(512) generates a second modulation symbol sequence by modulating the zero signal sequence. The first and second modulation symbol sequences are multiplexed with a multiplexer(506). A subcarrier mapping device(508) generates the signal of the HARQ feedback channel by mapping a multiplexed modulation symbol sequence.
