<p>A receiving apparatus 10 efficiently receives radio waves used for wireless communication. Four sides of the periphery of a back cover 4 are bent inward. The reflector 5 formed of a metallic material is disposed on the bent portion on the inner side of a housing. When radio waves are transmitted from the front of the receiving apparatus 10, the radio waves are reflected by the reflector 5 disposed on the back cover 4 and are directed toward the inside of the housing.
