The invention provides for containers formed from a liquid-holding vessel, a closure, and a molded paper or pulp-formed skeleton (110). The liquid-holding vessel comprises a bag (210) formed from a polymer for preventing contact between a liquid stored in or dispensed from the container and the skeleton. The liquid-holding vessel and the closure can be formed from a minimal amount of polymer or plastic.
