PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for measuring the deformation of a plate at the time of an accelerated cooling work are provided to improve product quality by continuously measuring the shape deformation of a plate through temperature departure. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the deformation of a plate at the time of an accelerated cooling work comprises probes(110), probing rods(120), and displacement sensors(130). The probes are consecutively touched with a plate transferred by a roller table(R). One end of each probing rod is restricts the probes, and the other end is extended to the outside the roller table. The displacement sensors are connected to the other ends of the probing rods and detect the deformation of the plate by sensing the displacement of the probing rods.
