The invention relates to a circuit incorporating NAND flash memory. It is desirable to provide a NAND flash memory to an apparatus, for example a mobile device. The circuit has a working memory, a programmable memory, and a controller. The working memory has a capacity smaller than the capacity of the NAND flash memory for copying part of the information stored in the NAND flash memory therein and has second addresses different from the first addresses of the NAND flash memory. The programmable memory has basic codes required to copy the part of the information stored in the NAND flash memory to the working memory. The controller is connected to the programmable memory for controlling random reading of the information stored in the working memory using the second addresses. The circuit is useful in terms of cost.
