PURPOSE: A network system and a method for controlling an energy consuming unit are provided to effectively manage an energy source. CONSTITUTION: A utility network(10) comprises an energy generating unit(11) which generates energy. The utility network transmits energy information or additional information. A home network(20) includes an energy consuming unit(26) which consumes the energy which is generated from the energy generating unit. The home network receives the energy information or the additional information. If specific information included in the energy information or the additional information is recognized, the operation of the energy consuming unit varies based on information related to the operation of a previous energy consuming unit. |
