PURPOSE: A device control method is provided to identify electric power information and compare a battery charging cost with a predetermined cost, thereby saving electric charges. CONSTITUTION: An on-peak time interval and off-peak time interval are recognized(S10). A battery charging cost of a battery charging time interval and a predetermined cost are compared(S20). A battery charging process is performed during the battery charging time interval when the battery charging cost is lower than the predetermined cost(S30). A battery charging starting time of the battery charging time interval is included in the on-peak time interval. A battery charging finishing time of the battery charging time interval is included in the off-peak time interval.
