PURPOSE: An outer frame for protection of a TV monitor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to construct each part of a square frame and weld the separate parts, thereby minimizing the loss of materials. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an outer frame for protection of a TV monitor comprises a first process of cutting or blanking steel plates according to the outer frame size of a monitor, a second process of welding the steel plates into a square frame by stick welding, a third process of forming a scratch pattern using rough polishing paper on the surface of the square frame, a fourth process of polishing the patterned surface of the square frame, a fifth process of UV-coating the polished square frame, and a sixth process of pressing the coated square frame to complete the shape.
