<p>The string has a cable (3) comprising a power plug (5) at a cable end (3a) and a lamp arrangement (9). A lamp socket (7) is movably arraged in the cable along longitudinal direction and electrically connected with conductors, where the socket is insulated outwardly. The arrangement has compact luminescent-lamps (13a) and a lamp cover (19) e.g. plastic cover (19a). The lamp cover is fastened to the socket in such a manner that an area below the cover together with the socket is protected against spraying water, where the lamps are arranged in the area.</p> |
