PURPOSE: A vehicle altitude measuring device and a 3D navigation system using the same are provided to recognize which road a vehicle enters from the altitude of the vehicle even if the vehicle enters an overpass or underpass. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle altitude measuring device(10) comprises a gradient information unit(110), a vehicle travelling information unit(120), and a controller(130). The gradient information unit creates and manages gradient information including information about the slope of a vehicle and a horizontal plane. The vehicle traveling information unit creates and manages vehicle traveling information about traveling of the vehicle on the road. The controller calculates the altitude of the vehicle using the gradient information and the vehicle traveling information. The vehicles altitude measuring device comprises an acceleration measuring part(140) which measures the acceleration of the vehicle. The gradient information unit calculates the gradient of the vehicle using the acceleration of the vehicle and creates the gradient information. |
