PURPOSE: A multi-channel video recording apparatus is provided to improve reproduction speed by storing frame index information in a file. CONSTITUTION: A video reception unit(110) receives multi-channel video frames. A recording control unit(120) controls one or more files according to the received multi-channel video frames. The recording control unit controls frame index information. The frame index information includes reproduction time information for the multi channel frames and storage location information.
